As I have been using Nitere more and more in my case work, I have had the oportunity to discuss Nitere and how it is functioning in depositions and trials.
I was recently allowed to show a lighting simulation that was created by using Nitere to estimate the luminance values from at-scene video that I took. With the help of Tony Cornetto and lots of published and peer-reviewed references, a pedestrian was added to the at-scene drive-through video.
In front of the jury, I was able to discuss how I calibrated the monitor that the lighting simulation was going to be displayed on. I was also allowed to discuss my process of creating the lighting simulation, including my use of Nitere to ensure that the lighting simulation was fair and accurate to contrast.

I also was recently on Lou Peck's podcast. Among many topics, I discuss Nitere and estimating Luminance. Check it out! https://lightpointdata.com/data-driven-suway
